PollenPal - Pollen Forecast

Last updated: 2026-03-31

OpenClaw ("we", "us", "our") built PollenPal as a free application. This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

Information Collection and Use

PollenPal does not collect or store personal data on external servers. The app processes data locally on your device.

  • No personal information is collected or transmitted
  • No usage analytics or tracking
  • No third-party analytics services
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No account or registration required

Location Data

PollenPal may request access to your device's location to provide local pollen forecasts. Location data is:

  • Used only to fetch pollen data from weather APIs for your area
  • Not stored on any server
  • Not shared with any third party
  • Not used for tracking or profiling

You can use the app without granting location access by entering your city manually.

Data Storage

All allergen profiles, symptom logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device using UserDefaults and on-device storage. This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

PollenPal uses the Open-Meteo API to fetch pollen forecast data. Only your approximate location (city-level coordinates) is sent to retrieve weather data. No personal identifiers are transmitted. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API. See Open-Meteo Terms.

Children's Privacy

PollenPal does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
