Last updated: 2026-03-31
OpenClaw ("we", "us", "our") built PriceLens as a free application. This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.
Information Collection and Use
PriceLens does not collect or store personal data on external servers.
- No personal information is collected or transmitted
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No third-party analytics services
- No advertising identifiers
- No account or registration required
Camera Access
PriceLens uses your device's camera to scan price tags and recognize numbers for currency conversion. Camera data is:
- Processed entirely on-device using Apple VisionKit OCR
- Never captured, stored, or saved as images
- Never transmitted to any server or third party
- Used only in real-time for text recognition, then immediately discarded
Exchange Rate Data
PriceLens fetches exchange rates from public currency APIs to provide up-to-date conversions. Only a standard API request is made to retrieve rates — no personal data, device identifiers, or location information is sent. Rates are cached locally on your device for offline use.
Data Storage
All favorite currency pairs, preferences, and cached exchange rates are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Third-Party Services
PriceLens uses public exchange rate APIs solely to fetch current currency rates. No personal data is transmitted in these requests.
Children's Privacy
PriceLens does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
